I have lived with my family at Sandhill Farmhouse, Washington in West Sussex since 1971. The house is mainly 16th centuary. There is a period Sussex Barn and farm buildings, and about 7 acres of land. The small lake, shown in the righthand picture, I created 38 years ago. At present we have just dug a second lake in a 4 acre field to the North of the farmhouse.I have started to create a small wildlife reserve on the land, with hides set up for bird photography. The Kingfisher, for example, visits regularly, and we have now cleared the edge of the Honeytbridge Stream, that runs along the East boundary of the property, to open up suitable banks for it to nest in.
A large room in the house doubles as my office/study, and a gallery of my pictures. A comprehensive collection of photographs can be browsed through, and framed examples are on view. I can quality frame the larger 16x20ins, and smaller 12x16ins mounted photographs while you wait. I also sell hand made greetings cards. Visitors are welcome, best to contact me first before a visit though
